Ryan's own pencil sketches, pen outlines and hand colouring bring three baby dragons to life in this four-stage drawing study. The panels follow his work from its first rough shapes through a more detailed sketch and bold outlines to the finished colour drawing. Purple, yellow and blue dragons take flight above a jagged green landscape beneath a warm, streaked sky. Seeing the stages together offers a closer look at how Ryan develops the characters, movement and small details himself, one stage at a time.
