About this piece
Ryan drew and coloured this original portfolio cover by hand, bringing himself, Angel and Teddy together in a page full of characters and bright ideas. At its centre, cartoon Ryan holds a pencil and an open sketchbook, with his two four-legged stars close beside him. Little character portraits, stars, hearts and handwritten messages fill the page around them. Warm orange, green and blue make it a lively introduction to the people, pets and imagination behind Ryan's drawings: draw, dream, create, repeat.
